2012 marks the third year Utah Wool Marketing Association has hosted a sealed bid auction. This is just one of our many ways to market wool. The buyers arrive the day before the auction and inspect (catalog) the wool. They are provided representative samples from each lot as well as core (and when applicable) length & strength information. The day of the sale buyers present sealed bids and the company name of the high bidder is announced. At the end of the auction the high bidder and the bid amount are announced. As with all wool we market the seller has the final right of refusal.
